Neighbourhood police in the Stowe area of Lichfield are staging a surgery where people can meet their local officers and raise any community issues. PCSO Liane Haddock, one of the local officers for the Stowe area, will be at the event on July 16, at Scotch Orchard Primary School. PCSO Haddock explained:
“The surgery is a chance for local people to enjoy a ‘cuppa with a copper’ and raise any local concerns they may have. People can drop in at any time between 7pm and 9pm.’
The event is part of a drive by Trent Valley police to encourage people to get to know their local neighbourhood officers and discuss community concerns. People can get their neighbourhood officer’s name, telephone and e-mail contact  details by visiting their local police station, calling the force on 0300 123 44 55 or clicking on the ‘local policing’ link on the homepage of the force’s website.
