A piece of work commissioned by the Lichfield Festival and the Scottish Ensemble will make an appearance at the Lichfield Garrick. Tim Sutton’s Dreamfighter presents enchanting and provocative perspectives on how the natural world came to be when it takes to the stage at 6pm. Elias String Quartet 2 is at St Michael’s Church from 3pm, while Mantra sees award-winning musicians Kuljit Bhamra, Jonathan Mayer and Shahid Khan present a piece tagged ‘musical conversations across the Indian Ocean’. The show is at 7.30pm at Lichfield Cathedral with Angus Smith and Kuljit Bhamra in discussion with Festival Director Richard Hawley at 6.30pm in the Lady Chapel. Elsewhere, Finkelstein’s Castle continues at the Garrick Studio at 8pm and Much Ado About Nothing at 2pm at Stowe House Gardens. Similarly, the free exhibitions by Angie Lewin, Alistair Tucker and Andy Lovell continue at Lichfield Cathedral. For more information on these events, visit the Lichfield Festival website.
