Lichfield Leisure Leagues football round-up

The Galacticos confirmed their title victory this week in the Lichfield Sunday Leisure Leagues Premier Division, as they sneaked through 1-0 against Hexis FC Legends to open up an unassailable four point lead at the top.

Gash Wanderers did all they could with a crushing 5-0 win over Bassetts Allsorts, but they will have to make do with second spot.

Hexis FC Marvels eased through 4-0 against Balboa’s Boys in Division One as they also confirmed their title win, despite a 3-0 victory for rivals Boley Park FC over Boley Explosion.

Monkeys Punk may have already confirmed the Monday Premier Division title, but there was no let-up in their form this week as they eased through 4-0 against Six On Legs.

Old Heads look in pole position for the runners-up berth after a 2-1 victory over Boley Park Academy , but Colin Lee’s Adopted Sons are still on their tail after a 3-0 success over Hats Off.

Plough & Harrow FC confirmed the Division One title after they edged through 2-1 against Street Strikers. 

Liquid Football sit top of the table in the Lichfield Tuesday league as they won their second game of the campaign 1-0 over Wilmot Dairies, with Sporting second after hammering Guinness 6-0.

Friary Boys got off the mark for the campaign with a 3-1 victory over KB Rejects, while KED picked up their second draw of the season after holding AFCF 1-1.
