Sounds of the sixties return at the Burntwood Wakes

Some of the biggest musical talents of the sixties are set to descend on Burntwood for a special open air concert.

The likes of Gerry & The Pacemakers, The Searchers, The Move, PJ Proby, The New Amen Corner (with Chip Hawkes and Mike D’Abo) and Alvin Stardust are all lined up to appear at the Burntwood Wakes.

The 60’s Summer Music Festival event on August 9 will be an outdoor concert at Burntwood Rugby Club.

The festival gets underway at 3pm (doors open at 2pm) and runs until 10pm. Tickets are £28 in advance or £30 on the day for adults, children £10 and under two free.
