Wednesdays will be fun days in Lichfield’s Cathedral Close during the school holidays. Lichfield Cathedral will be keeping little ones busy with a free tour to find all of the animals in the stained glass, carvings and monuments. Anyone wanting to take the tour just needs to ask the welcomer for the children’s guide. Then at 3.15pm the Cathedral Bookshop will be inviting people to hear stories read by the young volunteer group. There’s also the chance to meet Cathedral rabbit Erasmus, while Darwin House will be running arts activities for children aged five to 15 from 11am-3pm. Entry is £1 with an accompanying adult free. The fun runs each Wednesday during the school holidays. For more information call Lichfield Cathedral on 01543 306100.
