Chance for youngsters to learn circus skills at Burntwood workshop

Youngsters are being invited to roll up, roll up and learn circus skills at a workshop in Burntwood.

Burntwood Leisure Centre is holding a Circus Skills Workshop on August 20 from 10am to 4pm.

Youngsters aged six to 13 will be able to try skills such as juggling with balls, scarves and clubs, balancing, diabolo and plate-spinning. 

Paul Watson, Leisure Centre and Sports Development Manager, said:

“If you’ve ever fancied finding out what it’s like to be part of a circus then you’ll love this workshop. From juggling and plate spinning through to diabolo and balancing, this workshop is full of fun activities. Places are limited so book early!” 

The workshop will be taught by professional circus performers from The Street Entertainers Agency and costs £8.
