Burntwood Leisure Leagues football round-up

If FC Laser’s first half of the season in the Burntwood six-a-side Sunday League wasn’t much to write home about the second is showing signs of being much better – as long as they carry on the type of form they showed in their 8-0 demolition of The Untouchables.

Leaders The Trotters Return Again smashed in a nap hand and beat Chase United 5-0, while Attack of the Clowns remain just a couple of points off the summit after cruising 3-1 against Claret and Blues.

Elsewhere mid-table duo Fortress and FC Firm both won 1-0, against PSV Hangover and Burntwood 6 respectively.

White Horse extended their lead at the top of division one after beating The Big Devils 3-1, while second placed Average Joes could only draw 0-0 with LGCC as the high-fliers clashed.

The pick of the other victories saw Not So Pro dispatch Real Betis Hot Pot 2-0, while Burntwood 6 just sneaked home by the only goal of the game against Panthers Old & Passed It.

Beercalona are top of the Monday six-a-side Premier Division on goal difference after their 3-0 success over Euro FC, although Manaconk FC remain on their heels after a 2-0 win against Burntwood AFC.

Moredrawsthanthelotto piled more misery on rock bottom Linford Athletic FC in Division One with a crushing 5-0 win, but PSV Hangover matched the feat by also smashing five without reply past AFC Clayhanger.

Braziliant are a point clear at the top of Division Two following their thrilling 4-3 victory over Team Tek, and Jerome FC claimed their first points of the season with a 3-0 win against Greebo FC.

Team Salad were the stars of Division Three with a 4-1 victory over Scales FC, and there was an exciting 3-3 draw between Kay FC and Adidas All-Stars.
