The Burntwood Tapestry will be in the spotlight as part of Local and Community History Month.

The subject will form the basis of an event at Burntwood Library on September 3.

Between 7.30pm and 9pm, visitors will be given an insight into the work and commitment which went into the tapestry, as well as being able to view the masterpiece which will be on display.

County Councillor Paul Atkins said:

“This is a fascinating talk which will give much credit to the small and determined group  of people that worked so hard to make the Burntwood Tapestry into a reality. It is a must attend event.”

Tickets for this event will cost £3 (£2 for library members) and refreshments will be available.
