Burntwood Leisure Leagues football round-up

Attack of the Clowns showed just why they are top of the Burntwood Sunday six-a-side league after beating The Untouchables 8-0.

The romp was enough to move them to the summit as The Trotters Return Again were toppled 2-0 by FC Laser, while the chasing pack had a mixed day.

There were was a big win – FC Firm hammering Burntwood Reds 7-0 – and a defeat for Wolfsburg Dubs, who were toppled 4-1 by Fortress.

Division one leaders White Horse galloped to a 4-0 success over The Kings of Zimbabwe, while Pelsall Predators matched that score against Burntwood 6.

Finally high-flying Average Joes kept up their title challenge by easing out Real Betis Hotpot 3-0, while Warriors battled 2-1 against Not So Pro.

Burntwood AFC are only three points shy of the summit in the Monday Premier Division after they smashed three without reply past rock-bottom Inter’em FC.

IYM are nicely perched in third spot of Division One after a 6-0 drubbing of Linford Athletic FC, and there were 3-1 wins for both Los Galacticos and AFC Clayhanger against The Bronx Reserves and ABCDE FC respectively.

Braziliant remain top of the Second Division as they eased through 3-0 against Jerome FC who are struggling at the opposite end of the table, and Burntwood Villa are at the summit of Division Three following a 6-0 mauling of Paradise City.
