Lichfield Leisure Leagues football round-up

There was no Posioned Challis this week for Norfolk in the Lichfield Sunday six-a-side Leisure Leagues Premier Division this week, as Dan Challis helped them cruise through 5-0 against Hexis FC Marvels.

The Galacticos opened up a four point gap at the top with their 2-1 victory over Gash Wanderers, and Bassetts Allsorts sneaked through 1-0 against Ice Pack.

Mean Machine are only three points shy of top spot in Division One as they beat Balboa’s Boys via the same scoreline, but FC Licho remain top after a 2-1 victory over Barmy Army Tage.

The top two met in the Monday Premier League but Boley Park Academy and Monkey’s Punk could only draw 0-0.

Colin Lee’s Adopted Sons lost ground and were beaten 2-0 by Plough & Harrow FC, while Banana Grove’s struggles continued as they were beaten by the same score against Pes United.

It was a different story for fellow strugglers Hats Off who moved off the basement with a 3-1 victory over Old Heads.

Family United stay top of the table in division one but were beaten 4-3 by Taste The Beast in a pulsating top-of-the-table battle, while England Youth won well and saw off Six On Legs 4-1 and finally Dads Army are still without a point and lost 3-2 to Norfolk N Chance. 

ACFC Athletic stay five points clear at the top of the Tuesday league after beating The Dead Hang Gang 3-1. Nearest challengers Sporting also won, beating Bayern Neverlosin 1-0.
