A body found near railway tracks in West Sussex is that of a Lichfield man, according to reports.

British Transport Police are still trying to discover the man’s identity, but newspapers in the are say he is believed to be in his fifties and from the Shenstone area.

The discovery of his body, near a tunnel close to Haywards Heath station, delayed services on Tuesday evening according to The Argus newspaper.

The Chichester Observer reported how the man’s body had been discovered at around 10pm on the evening of October 6.
