Chasetown FC goalkeeper Ryan Price has urged his team-mates to “stick together” and build on their confidence-boosting win against table-topping Witton Albion.

The Scholars reminded their Unibond rivals what they are capable of as Reece Styche scored his second goal in as many games to beat the leaders.

And on the back of their FA Trophy win against Lincoln United, the dressing room is up once more at the Scholars Ground.

But Price is aware that they can’t afford to let their standards slip at Cammell Laird tomorrow (October 10). He said:

“We are on a nice little run at the moment. We were unlucky at Market Drayton but the win against Witton Albion has put us right back in the frame.

“The team is confident again and we just need to keep sticking together and working hard. With the players we have we’ll create chances, but it’s nice to get few clean sheets again.

“The feel-good factor is definitely back for us.”
