Gash Wanderers kept up the pressure at the top of the Lichfield Sunday six-a-side Leisure Leagues Premier Division this week as they cruised through 5-0 against Catalans.

The Galacticos remain six points clear at the top following a 5-2 victory over Norfolk , and Mean Machine hit a nap-hand without any reply at all in Division One as Mike Payne starred in their win over Boley Park FC.

Monkey’s Punk stayed top of the table in the Monday league after seeing off Colin Lee’s Adopted Sons 3-1.

PES United beat Old Heads 2-1 to move ahead in the mid-table battle, while bottom of the table Banana Grove picked up a point with a 1-1 draw against Plough and Harrow.

England Youth sneaked home 3-2 against Barmy Army Tage to stay clear at the top – just – from TTB who cruised 2-0 against Street Strikers.

Dads Army stay bottom but beat Six On Legs picked up their first points of the season with a 1-0 victory over Six On Legs.

ACFC Athletic won the Tuesday league this week with a game to spare, despite losing 1-0 to FC No Chance. Nearest challengers Sporting missed a golden chance to take the race to the last day after they too lost, 2-1 to Friary Boys, as Stewart Fielding proved the difference.

Lewis Evans was at his best as KED look to end the season on a high with a fine 7-1 destruction of The Dead Hand Gang.
