Another batch of quality acts will be on the bill in Lichfield courtesy of Wonky Hi Fi.
After bringing some of Sheffield’s finest to the George IV, the follow up features more of the same, plus some special guests from closer to home.
The Lines are a Wolverhampton-based four-piece who saw their single Domino Effect receive critical acclaim.
And with support slots for the Twang and Editors behind them and gigs with the likes of Jack Penate, the Holloways, Little Man Tate, the Maccabees, Babyshambles, Supergrass and The Charlatans, The Lines are clearly a band going places.
Strange and Partners meanwhile will feature a familiar face as former Reverend and the Makers drummer Rich Westley has switched his sticks for a guitar with his new group.
The George IV gig will also be the first chance audiences outside of Sheffield have had to catch the group.
Kicking things off on the night will be Last Train To Jupiter – a group renowned for their ability to get things going with a bang.
Entry to the gig on October 17 is £3.
