Former England cricketer Mark Butcher will be aiming to knock music fans for six when he takes to the stage in Lichfield with his band.
Although cricket is his first love, music has been a long-term passion for the one-time international batsman.
And The Mark Butcher Band will allow him to fulfill a life-long ambition with the impending release of his debut album.
His musical ability came to the public’s attention when he appeared on reality show Just The Two Of Us singing alongside Sarah Brightman.
The former England ace is now building up a reputation as a dynamic and passionate vocalist with a heart in soul and blues. His warm vocal tone is strong and engaging.
Mark explained:
“Music is about making you feel good and I like stuff you can dance and cry to at the same time!”
For his Lichfield Guildhall performance Mark has teamed up with guitarist Matt Taylor , drummer Roy Martin, keyboards player Jonny Dyke and bassist Derrick McIntyre.
