Burntwood Leisure Leagues football round-up

The Trotters Return Again are within clutching distance of the Sunday Burntwood six-a-side Premier Division title after the edged to a nervy 2-1 win over FC Firm.

Young Guns are the only other side in with a chance of swiping glory away from the table toppers, as they mauled The Untouchables, 5-0, to leave them just one point off the summit. The title race will reach its climax on Sunday, as the top two face each other in what will be an enthralling affair to determine where the title ends up.

Elsewhere, Heavyweights delivered a knockout blow to Wolfsburg Dubs as they edged through 3-2.

White Horse nailed on the First Division title, as they got the point they needed with a goalless draw against Not So Pro. Average Joes wrapped up the other promotion spot with a hard fought 1-0 win over Pelsall Predators.

Definatelymaybe are piling on the pressure at the top of the Monday Premier Division after winning through 5-3 in a thriller with Real Brownhills, although Manaconk FC stay top after their 4-1 win over Burntwood AFC.

Athletico Chasetown have already won Division One and they beat Los Galacticos via the same scoreline, and AFC Clayhanger eased relegation worries with a 4-0 success over PSV Hangover.

The Drop Outs romped home to a 10-0 rout of Europa FC for a precious victory in a bid to survive in the Second Division, whilst The Trident Troopers stormed to a 7-1 demolition of Mutton Lions Vets.

Bobby Dazzlers kept their Division Three title hopes alive by smashing four past The Green FC without reply.
