The annual St Giles Hospice Christmas Fayre is set to take place in Whittington. The event – on November 14 at Whittington Village Hall – promises to be packed with plenty of great Christmas gift ideas, plus beauty and fashion products, refreshments and seasonal entertainment. Children from the Whittington Primary School choir will be providing a musical performance of festive favourites, while youngsters will get to meet Father Christmas and his reindeer.

The Fayre takes place from 12 noon until 4pm and will feature an abundance of stalls including Christmas crafts, cakes, cards, jewellery and scarves, toys and beauty products, as well as tombolas and food stalls. Admission is 50p, with all proceeds going to the local hospice charity. Helen Relihan, Head of Fundraising for St Giles Hospice, says:
“Our annual Christmas Fayre is always a popular attraction, and we look forward to sharing some seasonal goodwill with families from across the local area. We rely on the proceeds from events like this to help us provide care for patients and support their families throughout the year, so not only is it a great opportunity to pick up some fabulous gifts, decorations and crafts, but it’s also a fantastic way to help others this Christmas.”
