Lichfield City FC travel to high-flying Kenilworth Town KH looking to extend their unbeaten run to five games.

City’s recent run of good form has seen them climb to sixth place in the Midland Combination Second Division but manager Dean Gilbert knows that the fixture tomorrow (November 14) will be a stern test for his side.

Kenilworth have won seven of their opening nine league games, have only tasted defeat once this season, and are unbeaten on home soil.

Gilbert said:

“It is a very, very tough away game on Saturday. Kenilworth are flying at the moment and it is going to be a massive test.

“That said, it will be a good indicator in terms of how far we have come and how much we really want to progress this season.

“The lads’ attitude has been excellent of late and they are playing with real self belief.”

Kick-off is 2.00pm at Gypsy Lane, Kenilworth.
