Lichfield will be transported back in time as part of a special festive celebration. The Samuel Johnson Birthplace Museum will host Christmas Light Night on November 26. The event will allow visitors to step back into Georgian Lichfield with a late night costumed Museum opening including craft activities and Christmas decoration workshops for adults and children, as well as festive refreshments. The event is free and the Museum will be open from 5pm to 8pm. No tickets are necessary so everyone can drop in to warm up with a mince pie and hot mulled wine before watching the Christmas lights switch on in the Market Square.
