Three-piece electric blues band The Hamsters are set to play Lichfield Guildhall.
With a career spanning more than 20 years, demand is expected to be high for tickets to see their unique brand of rootsy rock, blues and Americana.
Described by BBC Radio 2’s Bob Harris as “famulous” and “one of Britain’s very best live bands”, The Hamsters are also regarded as the UK’s leading interpreters of Jimi Hendrix and ZZ Top.
Lichfield Arts Director Brian Pretty added:
“They last played in Lichfield at the Real Ale, Jazz & Blues Festival four years ago, and I have been trying to get them back in Lichfield ever since.”
The gig starts at 8.30pm and tickets are available by calling 01543 262223 or visiting www.lichfieldarts.org.uk.
