Lichfield Leisure Leagues football round-up

Dan Challis was at his lethal best for Norfolk in the Lichfield Sunday six-a-side Premier Division, guiding them to the top of the table with a 6-0 thumping of Bassetts Allsorts.

G Wanderers are hot on the leaders heels as they melted the challenge of Ice Pack, 4-0.

In the First Division Rugeley FC are looking like very strong title contenders, even at this early stage, humbling Balboa’s Boys 6-0. Boley Explosion are keeping them honest as they picked up a big win, 4-0 against Mean Machine.

Monkey’s Punk are only two points shy of the Monday Premier Division summit after a crushing 5-1 victory over Colin Lee’s Adopted Sons, whilst leaders Boley Park Academy eased through 4-0 against Taste The Beast.

England Youth are a point off top spot in Division One after their regulation 2-0 win against Barmy Army Tage.

The top in the Tuesday league two both won 3-1, with Lichfield Crown staying above FC No Chance on goal difference after victories over Big Dawgs and Rugeley FC respectively.

Pathetic Athletic were the days biggest scorers, surprisingly thumping high-fliers Sporting 4-1, while Bayern Neverlosin proved again to be inaccurately named and stay bottom after KED saw them off 3-0.
