The sounds of Christmas will be on offer at a special concert in Lichfield Cathedral. The Christmas Cracker Concert takes place on December 19 at 7.30pm and features a programme of popular and sacred Christmas music with the Darwin Ensemble Chamber Choir. Tickets are available from the Cathedral Bookshop. But don’t worry if you can’t make the Christmas Cracker – a number of other carol services are also taking place:
  • December 14 at 7pm, the Friary School Carol Service.
  • December 15 at 7:30pm, the King Edward VI School Carol Service.
  • December 20 at 6:30pm, Lichfield Cathedral Carol Service.
Admission to these concerts is free and a collection will be taken. For full details of all the Christmas services, concerts and carol services at Lichfield Cathedral please visit
