Childcare providers from across Lichfield and Burntwood who have been recognised as outstanding in their recent Ofsted inspections, are to receive recognition for their hard work in a special ceremony. Hosted by the Early Years and Childcare service at Staffordshire County Council on February 3, Peter Traves, Corporate Director for Children’s Services, will present the awards at the ceremony, which will be held at County Buildings in Stafford. Also receiving a Star award will be twelve childcare providers, who have achieved their Early Years Professional Status (EYPS). County Councillor Ian Parry, Deputy Leader and Cabinet Lead for Children and Young People said:
“Star awards are given to highlight achievement and standards in childcare and I am delighted with the success of childcare providers here in Staffordshire.”
