A Burntwood youth project has relaunched its website.

Six young people from the Burntwood Init action group have worked together with Born Communications Ltd to create a site to let people in Burntwood know what’s happening in the area.

The site – at www.init.org.uk –  contains information on what Burntwood Init is, how it was formed and why, who is part of it, and what kind of positive activities the young people of Burtnwood have been getting involved in.  There is also a picture gallery, and up to date news on the activities that are available through the project.

County Councillor Ben Adams, Cabinet Member for Communities and Culture said:

“The new Init website shows how much there is on offer, and how enthusiastic the young people of Burntwood are in taking up opportunities to involve themselves in positive activities.  Young people in Burntwood have the opportunity to get involved in such a varied range of activities, and it is fantastic to see so many of them engaged, and doing positive works within their community.”

Since forming in 2007, Init has helped young people across Burntwood to become involved in positive activities in an attempt to combat anti-social behaviour.
