Lichfield music fans will have a chance to discover the talents that made Rosie Doonan a Radio 2 Folk Award nominee when she plays in the city.
Holy Cross Hall will be the venue as Lichfield Arts brings Rosie Doonan and the Snap Dragons to Lichfield for the first time on February 12.
With a violin and cello providing the perfect backdrop for Rosie’s own guitar and piano skills, Lichfield audiences are being assured the Wakefield-born musician will show just why she is regarded as one of the brightest stars on the folk horizon.
Lichfield Arts Assistant Director Stuart Davies said:
“It is part of our policy to bring up and coming musicians to Lichfield. Rosie Doonan is a great example of the wave of young folk musicians breaking down all barriers.”
The February 13 concert starts at 8pm at the Chapel Lane venue and tickets are available from 01543-262223 or online at www.lichfieldarts.org.uk.
