Lichfield fans will get their first chance to catch Gigspanner when the group perform in the city. Led by Steeleye Span fiddle player Peter Knight, Gigspanner will play Holy Cross Hall as part of the new Lichfield Arts season on February 12. Peter will be joined by Roger Flack on guitar and Vincent Salzafaas on congas/djembe for the concert A Lichfield Arts spokesperson explained:
“Their music engages hearts and minds with emotionally-loaded and life-enriching takes on British traditional and world music. Expect to be captivated by an evening of music that is regarded with a completely fresh eye, which retains a sense of the familiar at its heart.”
