PSV Hangover made it ten points from ten games in the Burntwood Sundaysix-a-side Leisure Leagues Premier Division, as they claimed a 3-0 success over FC Laser. Young Guns remain top on goal difference despite losing 1-0 to FC Firm, whilst White Horse sneaked through by the same scoreline against Wolfsburg Dubs.
The Big Devils
The Big Devils belied their lowly position in the First Division as they eased through 4-0 against Not So Pro, whilst Barclay Boys were comfortable 4-1 winners over Unreal Madrid. Definatelymaybeprobablynot strengthened their position at the top of the table after beating The Barns 1-0, while nearest challengers Manaconk lost by the same score to Real Brownhills. Burntwood AFC maintained their challenge with a 2-1 sneak past Beercelona, but there were goals a-plenty in division one with Braziliant securing a tasty 5-0 hammering of Big Macs and FC Clayhanger seeing off mid-table Moredrawsthanthelotto 2-0, thanks largely to Dan Clenton. The top three in division two all won well – leaders The Drop Outs having Reece Thomas to thank for their 2-0 victory over Burntwood Villa, second placed Mean Machine saw off Linford Athletic 3-0, and third placed Day Release went one better still and eased Europa FC 4-1. No doubt about where the headlines belong in division three and it was third placed Yew Tree who humbled Shire Oak Villa 6-0, but second placed Team Salad made sure they hang onto second after beating The Green FC 2-0.
