Residents will be able to get a helping hand with their finances during a free workshop at Lichfield Library.

Advisory staff from South East Staffordshire Citizens Advice Bureau will be on hand to offer help at the session tomorrow (February 17).

The workshop aims to offer advice and hints for getting and keeping control of personal finances. This will include how to prioritise spending, paying off personal debts as well as common sense strategies for staying on track with your money.

From 10.30am people can simply turn up and join in on the informal work shop which will talk them through how to be money wise in 2010.

County Councillor Terry Finn said:

“Taking control of your finances can be a difficult thing to do but what better way to do it in these cash strapped times than by visiting your local library for free help from knowledgeable advisors.”

For more information people should contact Lichfield Library on 01543 510700.
