The Galacticos

The Galacticos remain in the hunt for the Lichfield Sunday six-a-side Leisure Leagues Premier Division title as they claimed a 3-0 success over Barmy Army Tage, although leaders Norfolk remain four points clear of them at the summit.

Division One saw Rugeley Hexis beat Mean Machine via the same scoreline and they stay top of the pile by two points, although Boley Explosion are piling on the pressure as they beat Gumtree FC by a goal to nil.

Family United FC eased relegation fears in the Monday Premier Division with their 5-2 victory over Taste The Beast, whilst there were 1-0 wins for both Plough & Harrow FC and Colin Lee’s Adopted Sons over Monkey’s Punk and Old Heads respectively.

England Youth were 3-2 victors over Friary Sharks in Division One whilst Joe O’Neil starred for leaders Street Strikers in a 2-1 win against Dad’s Army.

Lichfield Crown finished champions of the Tuesday league by a five point margin, and there was no let-up in form on the final day with their crushing 5-1 victory over Bayern Neverlosin.

FC No Chance were held to a 2-2 draw by Big Dawgs FC but they will join the champions at the coveted Leisure Leagues National Tournament.
