Callowbrook Swifts U15 1 Lichfield Diamonds U15 11

Lichfield Diamonds got off to the perfect start when after just 90 secondsConnie Shutt finished off an excellent Alison Livermore corner.

Callowbrook then fought hard to get back into the game but the Diamonds defence and midfield held them at bay.

A 40 yard free kick from Danni Jones was well held by the keeper, but as the half wore on two good finishes from Shannon B-Jones and an excellent Livermore curler put Diamonds 4-0 up at the break.

Early in the second half Charlotte Batey turned in another corner for number five. Shannon B-Jones then took her personal tally to four with good finishes and then headed her fifth after the keeper blocked a shot from Livermore.

In between a marginal high foot decision in the penalty area gave Callowbrook a free kick 14 yards out, which they put away into the top corner.

Diamonds captain Jones nicely tucked away a penalty after Livermore was fouled when through on goal to put Lichfield back in the groove.

Stevie Kneller then popped up at the far post to blast in number ten before Livermore excellently burst through and rounded the keeper to add number 11.
