Lichfield City FC have bolstered their squad with the arrival of Carl Tedds and Adam Shakesheave.

Centre forward Tedds arrives from the Midland Combination Premier Division whilst Shakesheave has joined City from Walsall Wood.

Manager Dean Gilbert said:

“I’m delighted with these signings Carl is a player I’ve been tracking for some time. I’ve watched him seven times and I’ve been very impressed with what I’ve seen. He’s the best forward player I have seen in a long time.

“Adam is a highly experienced player and made his debut on Saturday. He started out at West Bromwich Albion as a youngster and has also played for Hednesford Town. He will have a positive influence on some of the younger players.

“We are at that stage of the season where we need to sign players with that little bit of experience to push us forward.”
