Dean Gilbert has vowed to ring the changes to his Lichfield City FC side ahead of their trip to Cadbury Athletic Reserves.

The City boss was fuming after seeing his side let a two goal lead slip last weekend, eventually succumbing to a 3-2 defeat at the hands of Leamington Hibernian.

“We have Cadbury’s on Saturday. They are a team in form and Andy McRobbie (assistant manager) and I will be sitting down and looking at the players we have at our disposal in the reserves as well as looking at bringing a player or two in.

“I spoke to my players on Saturday and they know the situation and they know how angry I am. I have 15 places to fill and, at this moment in time, not one current first team player has his name down on that team sheet for Saturday’s game.

“There are going to be a few changes.”
