Five Towns 1 Chasetown Ladies 6

Despite missing three of their key defenders for their match against Five Towns, Chasetown rose to the challenge and continued their impressive unbeaten run.

An early first goal was scored by Sinead Treanor after Sarah Thompson fed through a pass.

Several good attempts on the Five Towns goal followed before the lead was doubled via a corner from Jodie Kinsey that was headed into the bottom left corner of the goal by Jade Arber.

The third goal of the first half was scored by Charlotte Bull after she picked up a pass from Jodie Kinsey.

Five Towns managed to pull one back with an impressive volley from the edge of the penalty box beating keeper Becky Troth at full stretch.

Chasetown had the better of the play in the first half with Five Towns making the most of limited chances.

The second half belonged to Chasetown, another corner from Kinsey was headed across the goal by Jade Arber, hitting the post before being neatly tucked into the goal by Abi Picken.

A superb through ball from Bull left Treanor in acres of space to score her second and Chasetown’s fifth.

Treanor completed her hat trick late on in the second half after collecting a pass from Kinsey.

Player of the match went to Carly Edwards.
