Attack of the Clowns

Attack of the Clowns boosted their Burntwood Sunday six-a-side Leisure Leagues Premier Division title hopes with a 3-0 success over White Horse, as they look to overhaul the two sides above them in the final few days of the season.

Young Guns are two points clear at the summit though after their 2-0 victory over Average Joes, and there were also 2-0 wins for both Heavyweights and PSV Hangover against Wolfsburg Dubs and Burntwood Reds respectively.

Pelsall Predators are level on points with the top of Division One as they held on for a hard-fought 3-2 victory over The Untouchables, but LGCC FC remain top after a 2-0 win against The Big Devils.

The destination of the Monday Premier Division might have been confirmed but there was no let-up in champions-elect Definatelymaybeprobablynot’s form who eased through 4-0 against The Burntwood Boys.

Burntwood AFC look set to seal the runners-up berth after their 5-2 victory over Real Brownhills, and The Barns boosted survival hopes with a 5-1 win over Burntwood VI.

WP’s are hoping for a miraculous escape from the First Division relegation zone after their 4-0 success over AFC Littleton, and FC Sporting are only two points shy of the Second Division summit following a 3-0 success over Linford Athletic FC.

Bobby Dazzlers might be fourth in the Third Division table but their 5-0 destruction of Paradise City sees them right in the promotion mix, three points adrift of the top.
