Visitors will be able to explore Lichfield Cathedral with the return of guided tours around the medieval building.

The tours are free, although a donation is welcomed to help pay for the upkeep of the Cathedral.

Guides will be waiting to take visitors around the building at 2pm Monday to Friday, 12.30pm on Saturdays and 1.30pm on Sundays. The tours are running now, although the Saturday tours don’t start until May 1.

Anyone wanting to take a closer look at the Cathedral can turn up on the day at the Welcome Desk in the main entrance to the Cathedral.

For more information, or to book a group tour, call the Visitor Centre on 01543 306100.
