A drop-in police surgery is being organised for people living in the Boley Park area of Lichfield to share any concerns they have with officers.

Neighbourhood police officer PC Rachel Hooper and Boley Park’s new Police Community Support Officer Hilary Gittins will be at the Co-Op Superstore on Ryknild Street from 6pm to 8pm on May 12.

PCSO Gittins said:

“I’m really looking forward to meeting the community as their new PCSO. PC Hooper and I will be there to offer advice, answer questions and discuss any local issues residents may have.”

Anyone unable to attend can contact PC Hooper or PCSO Gittins via their voicemail by dialling 0300 123 2345 then extension 00778 for PC Hooper or extension 16662 for PCSO Gittins.

    A good idea would be to walk round the patch and say HELLO to people you see. 90 percent of time on the pavement and 10 percent in the office instead of the other way round would be a start.
    Or is that too much to expect?
