People are being offered the chance of free training ahead of a series of family cycle rides in Lichfield. The free three-day training has been arranged for people who volunteer to plan and lead some of the rides. A spokesperson explained:
“This is the British Cycling Assistant Leader course and all we ask is that you commit to helping us plan some routes and, of course lead, on some rides.”
The rides have been organised by Lichfield District Council in conjunction with Freedom Cycles and will take place on May 25 to 27 at Curborough Community Centre. To enrol on the course call Jeremy Trill on 01543 308191.
