Norfolk are just three points off the summit in the Lichfield Sunday six-a-side football league after the ever-dangerous Dan Challis led them home 4-2 against Rugeley Hexis.

The pick of the other top division games saw Stonn All Stars prevail in the mid-table battle with The Galacticos by a 3-1 margin.

A pair of 4-2 victories provided the highlights in division one as Mean Machine and Real Sosobad beat Barmy Army Tage and Balboas Boys respectively.

Street Strikers moved out of the relegation zone in the Monday night league after sneaking to a 2-1 victory over Family United FC, while at the other end of the table Old Heads stay top with a 5-0 dismissal of England Youth.

Mid table Banana Grove could yet mount a promotion challenge in division one if they maintain the sort of form that saw them humble Lichfield Unathletic 6-1, while Friary Sharks pulled off the shock of the day and overturned leaders Colin Lees Adopted Sons 4-2.

Lichfield Crown were impressive in their 7-0 crushing of KED in the Tuesday competition, while FC No Chance rattled in four goals without reply against Bayern Neverlosin.

Finally it was a bad day for leaders Sporting, who found themselves on the wrong end of a 3-0 scoreline as The Feathers had Darren Wright at his best.
