Burntwood Leisure Leagues football round-up

Newly promoted LGCC showed they could be a force in the Burntwood Sunday six-a-side Premier League after they beat Young Guns 2-0.

Indeed, that was a popular score as Pelsall Predators and FC Firm beat Attack of the Clowns and Heavyweights respectively.

There was a trio of single goal wins in division one with Graham Rix, The Untouchables and The Kings of Zimbabwe all recording 1-0 victories, but all these sides trail Not So Pro who eased out Aspen Arrows 3-1.

AFC Clayhanger made it three wins out of three in the Monday league as they beat struggling Bottom FC 4-0. Beercalona moved into mid table by pulling off a fine 3-1 victory over Definatelymaybe. Division one saw The White Pele’s continue their encouraging start to the campaign with a 4-1 cruise over Burntwood VI and the top two met and Real Playaz were beaten 3-1 by The Drop Outs.

Weder Barman won their first game of the campaign in division two, as they eased out The White Widows 2-0, while Team Tek did likewise and beat Day Release 1-0. Finally in division three, Inter finally got some points on the board after Hot Dog Juniors and Shire Oak Villa shone against Bobby Dazzlers and beat the 4-1 to stay top.
