Fradley Players to perform Habeas Corpus

Fradley Players will present Alan Benett’s comedy, Habeas Corpus this October.

The adult comedy, a farce about sexual hypocrisy, will be directed by Clare Charlesworth and will be performed by the amateur dramatics group over three nights in October. Tickets are now on sale for the shows on Thursday 28th, Friday 29th and Saturday 30th of October.

The cast comprises; Arthur Wicksteed will be played by Brian Asbury, Mrs Swabb by Jan Green, Muriel Wicksteed by Kathy Thorne, Constance Wicksteed by Tina Skews, Dennis Wicksteed by Jon Williams, Canon Throbbing by Howard Jacobs, Felicity Rumpers by Beth Jones, Mr Shanks by John Grisswell, Sir Percy Shorter by Gary Longden and Mr Purdue by Kevin Royal.

Tickets are available priced £10 from the Fradley Players web site. The group are also interested in new members. Anyone wishing to help out backstage or front of house should contact Mary Bennett on 01283 790219.
