Lichfield Leisure Leagues football round-up

Dan Challis’ hat trick gave Norfolk a 4-0 victory over Boley Explosion and helped them close the gap in the Lichfield Sunday six-a-side league as leaders Ram Sitchards were held 1-1 by Stonn Allstars.

It was a similar story in division one, as the second placed side Mean Machine won 4-1 against Clifton Rovers, but leaders FC Licho maintained their two point advantage by sneaking home 1-0 over Hexis FC Legends.

APFC moved away from the relegation zone in the Monday night six-a-side league after narrowly beating England Youth 1-0, while Boley Park Academy showed they haven’t given up on the title by beating Family United FC 2-1.

There were more goals than usual in division one. Norfolk led the way with a 5-1 dismissal of TTB, while Colin Lee’s Adopted Sons beat struggling Banana Grove 3-1.

Things were tighter in the Tuesday league, with KED and Rugeley Hexis both securing 1-0 wins o start the campaign, however it is The Feathers, who beat Bayern Neverlusen 3-2, who head things at this early stage.
