Lichfield’s Fuse festival is set to be an international affair after acts from Quebec and Moscow were among those confirmed for the main marquee. Local act Fountain of Youth will open the event on July 9 before French Canadian band Muddy La Fete take to the stage. Rounding off the opening night will be The Shooters.
The following day will see Battle of the Band winners The Switch kick off the day followed by the high energy of the six-piece The Dirty Cheats. Then it’s the turn of Moscow-based Blast. Rapper MC Myke and guitarist/singer Josh Lomas follow Blast before rock and pop covers band Riven entertain the masses. Then it’s the turn of PBS6 with their fusion of urban and folk music. Wrapping up the day will be Harare band Chimanimani. July 11 will see a number of local acts, including the City of Lichfield Concert Band, Lichfield Gospel Choir and Funktional. Wildfire Folk will set the stage before a Mega Ceilidh wraps the festival up. For more details about the free Fuse festival taking place in Beacon Park call 01543 262223 or visit
