Time is running out for people to enter Burntwood in Bloom.

A number of entries have already been received, but Burntwood Town Council wants more of its green-fingered residents to join in.

Councillor Doug Constable, Chairman of Burntwood Town Council said:

“We know there are lots of beautiful gardens, hanging baskets and troughs in the town and we really want to encourage people to enter the competition.  There are prizes and trophies to be won so why not give it a go?”

The closing date for entries is July 16 with judging taking place on July 27. Entry forms can be collected from Unit 1, Lambourne House, Bridge Cross Road, Burntwood WS7 2BX, or be downloaded from www.burntwood-tc.gov.uk.
