How the Koala Learnt to Hug

A new family show by children’s author Steven Lee is coming to Lichfield.

How the Koala Learnt to Hug has been adapted from a collection of short stories by Steven, who was also behind children’s favourites The Witch’s Bogey and Bink and the Hairy Fairy.

A spokesperson for the show said:

“Written especially for parents to enjoy with their children, How the Koala Learnt to Hug is a charming tale about the magic of family and the importance of a nice warm hug. Join Steven and a host of wild characters, including Natascha the Witch and Karen the Koala, for some great stories, sing along songs, superb games and first class hugging.”

How the Koala Learnt to Hug is at the Lichfield Garrick on July 18 at 2.30pm. For tickets – priced £8.50 adults and £6.50 children – visit www.lichfieldgarrick.com or call 01543 412121.

Steven will also be signing copies of How the Koala Learnt to Hug and Other Australian Fairytales after the performance.
