Burntwood Leisure Leagues football round-up

Pelsall Predators are beginning to look strong in the Burntwood 6-a-side Premier Division, recording their fifth win in six with a battling 3-1 defeat over M.O.B.

LGCC FC are also emerging as one of the early frontrunners as they showed great battling qualities in a 1-0 win over Attack Of The Clowns.

The Kings Of Zimbabwe are looking up in Division One as they saw off the challenge of The Untouchables by three goals to one. White Horse and Pitty We’re Not Good demonstrated just how compact things are, playing out a 2-2 draw.

AFC Clayhanger continue to lead the way in the Monday 6-a-side Premier Division after recording a commanding 3-0 win over Real Brownhills. Burntwood AFC preserved the pressure by edging to a 2-0 victory over Athletico Chasetown.

The Drop Outs maintained their 100 per cent record at the top of Division One, but were pushed all the way by Young Guns, eventually squeezing through 1-0.

Yew Tree remain unbeaten in the Second Division following a 2-0 victory over Streetly Rangers. Werder Barmen stated their intentions however with a 4-1 mauling of Day Release FC.

Underdogs are the new leaders of the final tier as one goal was all it took to overcome Shackthar, as Shire Oak Village slipped off the summit following a 3-2 reverse at the hands of Shelfield United.
