Lichfield Leisure Leagues football round-up

Four goals from Dan Challis helped Norfolk demolish Bassett’s Allsorts 7-1 and extend their winning start to the Lichfield Sunday six-a-side league to eight games.

The Solados also won well, sneaking past Ram Stichards 3-2. Hexis FC Legends picked up a first win of the campaign in division one, easing Real Sosobad 3-1, while Ice Pack stay tucked in just behind and edged Boley Explosion 1-0.

Champions Monkey’s Punk began their title defence in the Monday league with 2-0 loss to Boley Park Academy, while newly promoted Colin Lees Adopted Sons found life in the top league to their liking and snuck home by the odd goal in three against Family United FC.

The headlines in division one belong to England Youth, who crushed Dads Army 7-0 and it was honours even as a tight game between Lichfield Unathletic and PC PWN ended 1-1.

FC No Chance eased out Pathetic Athletic 4-1 and were the biggest scorers in the Tuesday league, it was a good day for another of the mid table teams as The Feathers edged out Bayern Neverlosin by the odd goal in three.
