Final preparations are being made for Fradley’s summer fete.
This year’s event will take place on August 28 in the field opposite the church and will be officially opened by Councillor Bernard Derrick at 1.30pm.
It will include a fancy dress competition with three entry categories – adult, child and parent and child – and the theme will be film characters, to celebrate the fact that St Stephen’s Church finally managed to screen two films during the Spring
A pet show, trombone group and juggler will provide additional entertainment for visitors and the event will end at around 4.00pm. For further information, contact Julia Usher on 01283 790920.
