The Garrick Rep Company have confirmed that TV star Christopher Timothy will be appearing in the forthcoming production of Alan Ayckbourn’s Haunting Julia.

The Doctors and All Creatures Great and Small actor will appear alongside Richard O’Callaghan and Dominic Hecht in the show which runs at the Lichfield Garrick from October 14 to 30.

Haunting Julia is a gentle, funny, but disturbingly profound play that tells the story of Julia, a musical prodigy with the world at her feet – until her body was found lying in a pool of blood. Twelve years later her father Joe has never stopped asking why.  Did she really take her own life? Or was someone else with her on that fateful night?

Strange sounds and signs have begun to haunt the shrine Joe has built to his lost daughter. He wants an answer – and he will get it!

Tickets to the show cost £15 (£10 for students) and can be booked at www.lichfieldgarrick.com or by calling the box office on 01543 412121.
