An appeal for information has been made after three dead cats were found in a canal near Lichfield.
The grim discovery was made by a jogger near Fradley Junction last week.
One of the cats was black and white, another was tabby and the colour of the third could not be identified. All three animals were believed to be fully-grown.
Police have been informed about the discovery and it has been reported to their wildlife officer.
