Event aims to help Lichfield and Burntwood firms boost their business

Lichfield and Burntwood companies are being given the chance to find out how to boost their business at a free event.

The Business Generator is being staged by Southern Staffordshire Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Lichfield District Council, East Staffordshire Borough Council and Tamworth Borough Council, and will feature a range of speakers and exhibitors.

Councillor Neil Roberts, Lichfield District Council’s Cabinet Member for Development Services, commented:

“Whether it’s buying or selling, thinking local can be beneficial – both for businesses and for the local economy. Think Local 4 Business is an initiative which encourages the public sector and private companies to buy from within the region, providing local businesses with every opportunity to prove their value and succeed. You can find out how to get involved by visiting the councils’ stand on the day.”

The day will feature 12 free seminars covering all aspects of sales and marketing which have been designed to help local businesses to boost their profits. There will also be a chance to meet buyers at a dedicated networking area.

Cllr Roberts added:

“In today’s financial uncertainty, it is more important than ever to get all the support you can to improve your business. We’re delighted to host The Business Generator in partnership, and would urge all our local businesses to take advantage of this valuable free event.”
